Shankless (bolt-on) design reduces manufacturing and operating costs by only replacing the tooth crown rather than the entire tooth resulting in savings over a conventional shanked tooth. The straight edge design of a beaver style tooth maintains an efficient cutting edge longer than the conventional concave shape.
